Definition:
A document is a material in library to be issued to users or to be used inside library premises. Documents can have attributes such as Title, ISBN number, Language, Publisher, Editor, Publication Place, Country, Publication year and many more.
A document can be a General Book, Magazine, Newsletter, Newspaper, DVD, CD, Article, E-book etc. which can be added on library portal as a single entry or multiple entries in one go through "Bulk Upload".
Example & Samples:
"Fundamental of Computers" is a document of type Computer Science Book and "Times of India" is a document of type Newspaper.
Cross Referencing:
Documents can be added only when related category is added from Category page. After the document is added on portal, holding details needs to be added to make the document issuable to users.
